Verio (verio.com) reported the functional expansion in one of its commercial offerings. The web hosting provider has implemented the addition of a complete suite of IPv6 managed services to its Internet protocol version 6.
This innovation has been provoked by Verio's ambition to make the IPv6 protocol as easy to deploy by companies as possible and scale up its speed. For the purpose, Verio has added new IPv6 applications such as a managed router service, NxT1 support, a shadow service backup solution and frame relay support.
The expansion in functionality of IPv6 carried out by Verio promises to give significant leverage to the flexible number of US-based organizations in government, healthcare, academia and research that capitalize from the IPv6-based networks. This way, Verio is looking forward to a significant growth in the deployment of its enhanced services thus extending the target area of customers.
