United Hosting (unitedhosting.co.uk), a web hosting company based in the UK, has bought Dimension 8, a web hosting company bases in Texas, USA. The terms of the acquisition were not revealed.
United Hosting will ensure that there is no need for migration and no server downtime, as it takes control over Dimension 8’s servers. United Hosting promised that there would be no changes in web hosting plans or rates for current Dimension 8 customers.
Matt Wallis, director of United Hosting, noted that current Dimension 8 customers would benefit from the stability, fast support response times and the customer forum and support center of United Hosting.
United Hosting is a subsidiary of United Communications and offers shared hosting domain name registration and managed dedicated servers for more than 6,000 websites.
