Paid, Inc. announced that it now offers 50 MB of free image storage for clients using aiSeller, its patent-pending AuctionInc (www.auctioninc.com) online auction and e-commerce management software. The free image storage would be useful for online auction sellers on eBay to provide pictures of their auction listings. Paid will provide the new free value-added service to select clients.
AuctionInc Seller (aiSeller) and AuctionInc Ship (aiShip) clients will be able to store online pictures of the products they offer for sale on eBay. AuctionInc has an image management feature that lets its users administer their files and folders from their browser. The program has a built-in auto-extract feature that allows users to upload a number of pictures in a single file. The service is quite reliable and bidders will see the pictures rather than broken links.
John Martin, vice president of Paid, Inc., said that the company’s goal was to build the best feature-rich, cost-effective one-stop shop for online auction management needs. He added that no-cost and low-cost image hosting was yet another feature, which simplified things for Paid’s clients and brought the company a step closer to its goal. aiSeller clients will be able 50 MB of free image hosting, if their monthly fees for aiSeller usage exceeded $4.95. The price of the new service will be only $4.95 a month for customers of aiShip. The hosting space of 50 MB is sufficient for 1,000 to 2,500 pictures with a size between 20 and 50 KB, which should be enough even for large auction sellers. Users of the new service will be able to upload individual pictures or zipped files containing many pictures through their browser, without the need of plug-ins or other software. To display a picture of a product in their eBay listings users will only have to include the URL of the picture in their product description during the listing process.
