Opsware Inc. (opsware.com), a data center automation software firm, has announced its intentions to sell shares to the public.
It reported to have filed a Form S-3 with the Securities
and Exchange Commission. The company aims at registering a $150M sale of stock.
Opsware Inc. was initially established as a part of the Web hosting firm Loudcloud,
which was responsible for one of the dot-com era's last major IPOs.
Opsware dealt with selling the company's automation software two years ago.
According to Opsware Inc. the sale's benefits would be utilized in the course of pursuing general corporate goals.
