Peak 10 www.peak10.com, a provider of data center and managed hosting services announced last week that it has signed an agreement to provide web hosting and managed services for media and entertainment company Paramount Parks. Peak 10 manages four data center facilities in Charlotte, Jacksonville, Raleigh and Tampa. According to the agreement Paramount parks has consolidated its Internet operations from its Seattle location to Peak 10’s facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. Peak 10 has recently added new offerings to its array of managed services.
David J. Burkart, vice president of technology for Paramount Parks said that when the company decided to consolidate its online presence into one location, it sought a partner that could deliver a high level of service and reliability. He noted that Peak 10’s facility was impressive but their people that really set them apart. Burkart added that Peak 10 team’s responsiveness, expertise and can-do attitude were refreshing.
David Jones, president and CEO of Peak 10, said that the company was delighted by Paramount Park’s decision to move its Internet presence and infrastructure into Peak 10’s Charlotte facility and augment the strength of their staff with Peak 10 team’s experience and know-how. He added that Paramount Parks was a significant addition to Peak 10’s facility as they continued to be a recognize leader in the theme park industry and a valuable member of the Charlotte business community.
