Hackers reportedly cracked the website of a terrorist group suspected of beheading two US hostages in Iraq. The address of the cracked website, forwards visitors to a webpage showing a penguin with a machine gun and a warning toward providers hosting terrorist sites. The defaced website, which belongs to the Tawhid and Jihad Group of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, a reported ally of the al-Qaida, is hosted by a provider of free web hosting services. Last week, the site contained videos of British hostage Kenneth Bigley pleading for his life and videos of the beheading of two US hostages.
The hackers, calling themselves “TeAmZ USA” issued the following warning to web hosting providers “Host them and you are next!” Reports claim that the hacker group has attacked other website supporting al-Qaida and other Islamist groups. Terrorist groups are increasingly using the Internet to convey their massages and often use free hosting services, migrating to a new host, if their website is closed.
