Peak 10 (www.peak10.com), a data center operator, announced that it has bought Xodiax, a provider of co-location, connectivity, hosting and managed services based in Louisville, Kentucky. The financial details of the deal were not revealed. The deal increases Peak 10’s geographic reach and market presence in the Southeast. As a result of the acquisition, Peak 10 will now own and manage five enterprise-class data centers in five key markets, providing quality services, infrastructure, security and performance to small, medium and large businesses in its local markets, regionally and nationwide. Peak 10’s customer base includes companies like Ameristeel, Commonwealth Aluminum, Kentucky Farm Bureau, Lending Tree, MaximumASP, Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority and Siemens.
Kevin Brandon, partner at Seaport Capital, said that Peak 10’s acquisition of Xodiax expanded the company’s footprint to five cities and added attractive and strategically valuable franchise to its business. He added that completing this acquisition on the heels of reaching EBITDA earlier this year demonstrated Peak 10’s continued execution on its strategy of achieving scale and being the leading independent data center operator in the Southeastern US.
