The Web hosting provider Digital River, Inc. (www.digitalriver.com) announced on May 26 that it is providing e-commerce support for Enteractive Distribution (www.enteractive.com), a software publisher and distributor. Based on the agreement, Digital River has built and launched the company's e-commerce store located at www.enteractive.com. Consumers shopping on Enteractive's site can find utility, consumer lifestyle and personal productivity software products.
Dave Alampi, Digital River's vice president of marketing, said that Digital River's goal is to help its clients build and expand their online businesses by leveraging Digital River's world-class e-commerce infrastructure and capabilities as well as Digital River's strategic e-marketing services. Howard Luxenberg, president of Enteractive, said that Enteractive selected Digital River as its e-commerce provider because of the company's core competency and expertise in running successful online stores.
