DotSynergy is based on the second level of the company's Virginia data center facility. All the shared servers are Dell 3GZ 6-12GB, 40GB+ HD, RAID 5 powered, and equipped with Fantastico, CPanel, WHM, RVSkins, PHP, JSP and web statistics. Customized and reseller plans are also available. Syntiva previously offered managed Web hosting and with the launch of dotSynergy moves into the shared hosting space.
Jeff Smith, president of Syntiva, said that with dotSynergy, Syntiva wants to extend the customer service and support that its managed hosting provides to the shared hosting environment, that over the years Syntiva has experienced both horrible and some very excellent service from hosting providers, that, as a result, Syntiva knows what typical Web hosts offer, in products and services, and that Syntiva can surpass it in almost every way.
