The Web hosting automation software developer SWsoft (www.sw-soft.com) announced on June 6 at the HostingCon2005 conference (www.hostingcon.com) that it has released version 2.0 of SiteBuilder, an application for building websites. The latest version includes various new features designed for hosting service providers, administrators and end users.
For service providers, there are new capabilities for building blogs and adding e-commerce capabilities, in addition to advanced statistics and reporting. For administrators, there is an open XML interface, and new site and plan management capabilities. Additional new features for end users include forums, guestbook, counter, voting, forms builder, photo album, Web content (RSS feeds), Flash introductions, search engine submissions and more.
Kurt Daniel, director of marketing at SWsoft, said that SiteBuilder is a powerful tool for service providers who wish to convert a high percentage of their existing site traffic into customers, and that based on broad customer feedback and demand, SiteBuilder now offers an amazing amount of new functionality while maintaining its leadership in ease of use and cost of ownership.
