Peak 10 (www.peak10.com), a provider of managed hosting and data center services, announced on April 22, 2004 the availability of new managed services including managed virtual private network (VPN), remote monitoring and management and exchange management. According to Peak 10, the new services will allow the company to provide cost-effective services for companies that support and deliver storage, monitoring, hosting and disaster recovery solutions. The company said that the new services would allow organizations to reduce overall IT management costs while improving performance and reliability.
David Jones, president and CEO of Peak 10, said that by leveraging the company’s operational efficiencies, geographical diversity, world-class infrastructure and technical expertise, organizations are able to significantly reduce costs and increase efficiency by focusing their IT resources on building their business not supporting it. He added that this demonstrated Peak 10’s ability to extend services to meet customer needs through its proven technical and operational expertise.
According to Peak 10, the new services will allow it to gain a better position in the small and medium-sized business segment where the company was experiencing increasing demand for managed services. Peak 10 manages four data centers in Charlotte, Jacksonville, Raleigh and Tampa.
