In August 2004, during the recent attacks of hurricane Charley and tropical storm Bonnie, GunnAllen Financial successfully applied its disaster recovery plan. GunnAllen Financial, a brokerage and investment company based in Tampa, has 180 branch locations throughout the United States with over 900 registered representatives and over 200 support staff at its corporate headquarters. The company transferred its critical technology infrastructure to Peak 10’s data center in Tampa, Florida and started a completely functional onsite business continuity operations center at Peak 10.
