Oriensoft, a developer of web hosting automation software, announced on August 30, 2004 that HostingAccelerator version 2.0 (www.hostingaccelerator.com) for Windows was now available. Version 2.0 of HostingAccelerator was completely rewritten with .NET technologies, includes more than 40 new features and was redesigned to provide a Windows XP-like interface.
HostingAccelerator comes with 15 applications such as discussion boards, a web statistics application, shopping carts, chat and blog tools, and a content management system. In addition, the software supports the latest versions of popular mail, FTP, DNS, statistics and Java servers. The applications bundled with HostingAccelerator also include AWStats, a popular log analyzer, and Jabber, an instant messaging server. Oriensoft said that HostingAccelerator was tightly integrated with the Windows Server 2003 platform, aiding web hosting providers in offering Windows-based services at a lower cost. HostingAccelerator 2.0 can be purchased immediately at prices starting from $199.
