The UK-based online shopping catalog OnlinePlaza (www.onlineplaza.co.uk) announced on June 1 that it has decided to end its Web hosting service, which only started about a month ago. All affected customers have been informed and a special technical team has been set up to help customers transfer their websites to another host or server successfully.
OnlinePlaza’s managing director said that OnlinePlaza is sorry to cause any inconvenience to its customers, that over the month OnlinePlaza has received a substantial amount of businesses in its Web hosting section, but OnlinePlaza still does not see its long term profit due to the high operating and maintenance cost, that therefore OnlinePlaza decides to terminate this part of business and concentrate on its core business.
