Liquid Development (www.liquiddev.com), a content management technologies developer, announced last week that VeriCenter (www.vericenter.com), a managed web hosting provider, would provide hosting for Liquid Development’s Aquifer (www.aquifercms.com) content management system. The company said that it has chosen VeriCenter, because it wanted a service provider with a presence in different geographic locations. Liquid Development has recently signed a contract with an international hotel chain as a new customer, increasing its needs.
David Wallis, president of Liquid Development, said that the company evaluated several managed services and co-location facilities within Houston area and VeriCenter stood out. He stated that several factors went into Liquid Development’s selection process. Wallis noted that the facilities location, fuel capacity for backup generation, third floor network operations center and professionalism were among the highpoints. He continued to say that most importantly, the people at VeriCenter worked with Liquid Development at tailoring a contract centered around its business.
Brian Feldman, project manager at Liquid development, said that VeriCenter took very good care for Liquid development during its transition. He noted that everything Liquid Development had requested was configured and ready when the company arrived. Feldman added that all Liquid Development had to do was move in its servers and configure its firewall.
