The software bundle includes Pivot Path, a set of tools for setting up and managing hosted applications. In addition, the kit provides advice on application hosting procedures and business modeling tolls that give software companies the opportunity to work out the pricing and cost structure needed for maintaining a hosted application business.
Jamcracker, which started doing business as an application service provider, is focusing on software companies and service providers, which want provide hosted application services. Customers have the choice of paying an up-front licensing fee for the kit or remitting percentage of the sales.
