Fasthosts (www.fasthosts.com), a provider of web hosting services based in the UK, announced on October 21, 2004 that it has introduced a new promotion providing three months of reseller web hosting free of charge. According to the company, IT service providers in the UK could now test-drive its reseller accounts and provide its complete portfolio of hosted Internet services such as hosting unlimited websites, hosting unlimited e-mail and online collaboration tools and offering uncapped broadband Internet access. Fasthosts Reseller account is priced at GBP 50 a month or GBP 500 a year. The three-month trial is worth GBP 150. The offer is valid through November 23, 2004.
Andrew Michael, chief executive officer of Fasthosts, said that the limited-period promotional offer provides the ideal opportunity for web designers, web developers and other IT professionals to host unlimited domains for three months, completely free of charge. He added that Fasthosts also expected business customers, who simply needed to manage multiple websites, to try out the reseller account during the promotional period.
