Interwoven (www.interwoven.com), a provider of enterprise content management services, announced on June 29, 2004 that it has signed a contract with Data Return (www.datareturn.com) to provide managed web hosting services for Interwoven’s MediaBin software product family. Interwoven and Data Return have already participated in several partnerships such as an implementation with DirecTV Inc., using MediaBin in a hosted environment. The managed hosting service provided by Data Return to Interwoven will include capacity planning, complete support for the MediaBin product, comprehensive change management and patch management services, and proactive performance analysis and optimization.
Steve Pattison, vice president of alliances and business development at Interwoven, said that Data Return’s MediaBin and .Net platform expertise would provide Interwoven’s customers with a best-in-class, hosted Digital Asset Management application. He added that value of MediaBin combined with Data Return’s services would help marketers across all verticals and all industries control brand accuracy and accelerate time to market for products and promotions.
Mark Hupe, vice president of strategic alliances at Data Return, said that the company has enjoyed a great relationship with MediaBin and was please to extend that now to Interwoven. He noted that as a result of the partnership, customers would receive an and-to-end solution for the management of their digital media assets. Hupe added that Data Return’s best-in-class managed services, technical expertise and the MediaBin application combined to create a highly available and reliable solution for digital asset management.
