Advanced Communications (www.advcomm.net), a hosting automation software developer, announced on March 18, 2003 that it has signed an agreement with SmarterTools (www.smartertools.com), an Internet software developer. According to the agreement, users of Advanced Communications' Hosting Controller control panel will be able to use SmarterTools’ SmarterMail and Smarter Stats free of charge. Advanced Communications stated that the products of the two companies were complementary and the agreement would provide web hosts with access to important web hosting tools.
SmarterMail is an e-mail management application and SmarterStats is a log analysis application for individual users and small and medium-sized enterprises.
Steve Roth, sales director of Smarter Tool, said that the company’s goal was to provide high quality products for a very reasonable price to the web hosting industry. He added that by integrating the products of the two companies they were working together to realize the full promise of cost-effective hosting solution for the web hosting industry.
Syed Nauman Hashmi, CEO of Advanced Communications, said that the company was committed to providing its users with a complete out-of-the-box solution for web hosting automation to help web hosts eliminate the guesswork and frustration of mixing and matching disparate applications. He added that SmarterTool's SmarterStats and SmarterMail Suite and Hosting Controller jointly supported the entire web hosting workflow, from provisioning to powerful e-mail and statistics services, thus providing the most cost-effective solution to the web hosting industry.
Last month Advanced Communications announced Flash tutorials for its Hosting Controller web hosting control panel.
