The American Society of Composers, Authors, Publishers (ASCAP), and Nimbit Web Services have teamed up to introduce and promote a new package of services, ASCAP Web Tools. The new package includes website management tools and hosting services customized for the entertainment industry. ASCAP Web Tools were introduced earlier this month at the Performing Right Society’s annual membership meeting in Los Angeles.
The price for ASCAP Web Tools starts at $11 a month. The new services were created to provide professional musicians, entertainers and their organizations with the opportunity to build and maintain self-managed websites. The package includes tools for content updates, e-mail marketing, dynamic show calendars, auto e-mail reminders, photo and media galleries, tour journals and message boards.
Patrick Faucher, Nimbit founder and president said that Nimbit was very proud to partner with ASCAP, an organization renowned for serving the song-writing community. He added that this would not only help more artists learn about Nimbit’s technology, but the company would help professionals to further their careers by giving them much needed tools and services to better mange their online presence.
Aerosmith, The Skatalites, and Los Straitjackets are currently among the performers who use Nimbit’s website management tools.
