Graphics Server Technologies LP (www.graphicsserver.com), a charting technology provider, announced on August 23, 3004 that 4web-space (www.4web-space.com), a provider of web hosting services, would provide the Graphics Server .Net charting technology to its shared hosting customers. Under the agreement, 4web-space customers will be able to use Graphics Server .Net v2 – Web Hosting Edition on their ASP.NET hosting platform free of charge. Developers will have the opportunity to download the utility from the Graphics Server website for local testing and development and then upload their ASP.NET applications to the web server of 4web-space.
Graphics Server .Net 2.0, which was made available in July 2004, and is based on more than 14 years of charting technology development for the Graphics Server array of Windows software components. The software was initially offered with Microsoft Visual Basic Professional and provided on an OEM basis by software developers like Borland, Cognos, ESRI, and Enterprise Blocks.
