2ndSite (www.2ndsite.biz), a provider of billing application services for Web hosting companies, announced on March 15 that it has released version 2.7 of its Web hosting billing service, the sixth release since May 2004. It enables hosts to offer billing through several payment gateways, including VeriSign, Electracash and PayPal, and includes timesheets, file sharing, support ticketing, detailed payment history reports.
In addition, 2ndSite's service features a recurring billing module, which is free of charge for Web hosts with fewer than 10 clients. It is used to automate monthly and annual fee billing on a subscription basis. 2ndSite's module enables businesses to automatically charge their clients’ credit cards using the VeriSign, Authorize.net and Paradata payment gateways.
