Hurricane Electric\'s number of hosting names grew a dramatic 199% over the last year, from 64,955 hosting names in December 2002, to an impressive 194,097 in December 2003. Netcraft attested this growth to Hurricane Electric\'s successful growth strategy in the colocation market, as well as its ability to grow organically as opposed to numerous acquisitions during continued industry consolidation in 2003.
