IP Exchange GmbH,Hurricane Electric,and iPowerWeb were the fastest growing hosting service providers in the world last year among companies with at least 50,000 hostnames as of January 2003, according to research published today by research and analysis firm Netcraft.
According to Netcraft, German-based IP Exchange grew by 352 percent, adding 218,117 hostnames between December 2002 and December 2003. Hurricane Electric followed with 198 percent growth, while iPowerWeb grew 196 percent. GoDaddy, EV1Servers and Net@access occupied positions 4-6 with Agarik/Amen, Yahoo, Hostway and Burstnet rounding out the top 10.
