Internet service and Web hosting provider VIA NET.WORKS has split its worldwide sales organization into two business units in an effort to enhance its strategy of focusing on small and medium-sized enterprise and vertical markets, the company announced on Monday.
VIA NET.WORKS has created two new units: VIA Industry Solutions and VIA Express. According to the company, the VIA Industry Solutions unit will sell managed business communication solutions to SMEs in specific vertical market segments, while the VIA Express unit will sell packaged bundles of Web hosting, security, voice and Internet services across all sectors.
