Two premier web design companies pooled forces to launch Macromedia Flash video streaming service. Under the new partnership, Speedera Networks (speedera.com), a provider of on-demand computing services, and Macromedia (macromedia.com), a Web design software developer, will provide an exclusive service that is based on Macromedia Flash Communication Server MX and is offered as part of Speedera's SpeedSuite portfolio of services.
Owing to the promising negotiation with Macromedia, the new robust solution will allow companies to deliver Flash videos to Web users across Speedera's globally distributed delivery network, with no up-front capital expenditures on hardware or software. This way, Flash content is delivered more easily and effectively on a maintained high level of quality and reliability. Even more, companies do not need to install and maintain their own streaming video servers in order to leverage these benefits. Meanwhile, they will be able to manage, track, and report key statistics for their video usage.
The newly-contracted integration of Macromedia Flash technology with Speedera's SpeedEye portal enables leading media companies, interactive agencies, and large and small companies to provide compelling broadband sites for their customers through its deep interactivity and instant-on, no hassle end-user
experience. This experience is greatly enriched by Flash video content which changes radically the way of playing video online.
