IJNet (www.ijnet.org) announced on November 12 that the Mass Media Center at St. Petersburg State University is offering a workshop on Web design from November 29 to December 5. Participants will learn about contemporary design techniques for the Internet using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Flash coding. They will learn to layout Web pages, how to use graphics and animation, and the best ways to structure a site.
The workshop will also include sessions on Web marketing. The participants will discuss ways to use search engines, banner advertising, Web rings and business techniques online.
