PEC Solutions Inc., a professional services firm specializing in Web-based IT systems for government agencies, has established an agreement with the Justice Department’s Executive Office for Immigration Review. Under the deal, PEC Solutions is anticipated to provide management services and information technology support for all phases of the agency’s eWorld project.
Owing to the new deal, the eWorld project’s four phases will incorporate the management of immigration case documents by one single system, instead of several legacy ones, as it was before. This way, the agency will be provided with a streamlined system for processing appeals of orders from immigration judges.
In order to implement the contract tasks, PEC Solutions will be dealing with administering the eWorld project, by providing system support and maintenance, Web development, database design, integration and administration services. The company will also ensure authorities with Web-based access to the agency’s data and documents, an e-filing system, as well as automatic assembly of case-relate data.
