The PhotoshopWorld Conference and Expo 2004, held in Orlando, on September 1 - 3, 2004, featured a special competition hosted exclusively for the event's attendees. The Guru Awards presentation ceremony was not open to the general public or NAPP members. It recognizes outstanding work in Photoshop design.
Guru awards winners in all categories, including web design, were honoured with a special trophy. The recognition is complemented with additional exposure of each winner’s work in the Photoshop User magazine, as well as Expo floor exposure for all attendees to view. All finalist have received an individual certificate.
This year's Guru awards went to a great deal of professionals who were honoured for their remarkable work in nine categories in total. The web design category award went to Jennifer Ricker for her magnificent masterpiece "creativescape.org,".
