Premier commercial sheetfed, web and digital printing company Consolidated Graphics, Inc. entered into an agreement with application development company Liquid Development. Under the new deal, Consolidated Graphics's newly-launched web site (www.consolidatedgraphics.com) will be powered by the company's new partner. The site was designed by Savage Design Group (www.savagedesign.com) who partnered with Liquid Development in creating a more user-friendly interface.
The new deal was influenced to a great extent by the existing relationship between Liquid Development's Aquifer CMS (www.aquifercms.com) and the web designer of Consolidated Graphics's web site. The two companies have collaborated on numerous projects including the Houston Zoo, Integrated Electrical Services as well as Houston Endowment. In their cooperative relationship they've emphasized the significance of content management.
Through the newly-contracted partnership Consolidated Graphics aims at making use of Aquifer's XML system type to be able to request and format an XML feed from Thomson Financial/CCBN, enabling CGX to control the visual display of the dynamically provided data. This way, Consolidated Graphics is expected to easily integrate the investor relations feed from Thomson Financial/CCBN.
