Being in process of searching for the right website creator for a permanent relationship, the City of Newburgh has launched a temporary web page to spread information to the public. The new site http://cityofnewburgh-ny.gov was created by Glenn Kurcon, City Information Systems Manager. Its key features are numerous links to elected officials, various city departments, a section for public notices and document review, as well as the city calendar.
The newly-launched site incorporates the design guidelines for Colonial Terraces. The proposed principles for adopting these guidelines will be presented at a public hearing which will take place on Monday, August 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Multi-Purpose Activity Building, 401 Washington Street. The event is aimed at provoking public comments on the proposal.
The introduced new web site is a temporary substitute for the prospective web page of the City of Newburgh that will be thoroughly designed to promote the city all across the nation and throughout the world for a substantial period of time. For that purpose, the most promising team of web designers is being actively sought to match the long-term conception of the city.
