Boston Web Design (www.bostonwebdesign.com), a Web design, development and marketing firm focused on delivering effective Web based solutions that deliver a positive impact for businesses, announced on October 26 that the Hearth Rhythm Foundation website has been selected as a finalist in the Not-for-Profit category for the 9th Annual MITX Awards.
The MITX Awards (www.mitxawards.org) are held annually by the Boston-based Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange (www.mitx.org), which recognizes excellence in the creation of interactive technologies designed, produced or developed in New England.
The Heart Rhythm Foundation website was designed and deployed with the objective of being the leading resource for patient education for heart rhythm disorders, and online advocacy through a secure donation component. The site was designed to have an emotional impact as well as being structured for intuitive navigation and focused content.
Chuck Murphy, President of Boston Web Design, said that since the launch of the website the Heart Rhythm Foundation has been able to effectively inform thousands of site visitors as well as to provide a means for online advocacy. Boston Web Design will be recognized with the other finalists in the category of Non-for-Profit at a gala awards ceremony in the Boston Copley Place Marriott on November 10.
