Nationally acclaimed design book Rethink Redesign Reconstruct has just included the creative director for Action Figure, an Austin-based company specializing in all forms of graphic design, web design and animation graphics, in its ranking of the top contemporary designers. Mr. Matt Hovis was selected on account of his considerable experience in the design industry and knowledge of artistic media.
The inclusion of Matt Hovis in the Rethink Redesign Reconstruct was preceded by a thorough selection process. The selective procedures aimed at compiling the list of the top contemporary designers from over 22 countries. The creative director for Action Figure had to reinterpret existing works by other designers. The next step was to share his approach to the process, the source of his redesign inspiration and his professional assessments of the project.
In the opinion of Matt Hovis, the opportunity to express sheer creativity and show this work alongside some of the industry's top designers, was a true pleasure to him.
