The search engine giant Yahoo Inc. (www.yahoo.com) announced on April 28 that it has released a beta version of its new personal search engine My Web (http://myweb.search.yahoo.com), which will enable registered users to set up a searchable archive of everything they look for online. As well as being able to save favorite Web pages, users will also be able to keep a record of their search results and retrieve the results when and if required.
All pages can be annotated with notes and users can even share their saved favorites with friends and colleagues via e-mail, instant messaging and RSS. In addition, My Web enables users to create folders to store exact copies of Web documents such as travel itineraries and events.
