PittsburghLive.com (http://pittsburghlive.com) announced on October 22 that a 29-year-old Fayette County woman, charged with luring men via the Internet to the home of another woman who they were instructed to rape, has been identified through a detailed investigation involving Yahoo (www.yahoo.com), the Internet search engine leader.
Tracie Lee Grimm, of Normalville, has been charged by the state police with criminal solicitation to commit rape, recklessly endangering another person, identity theft, stalking and two counts of criminal use of a communication facility.
State police Trooper Thomas B. Broadwater said that the men in contact with Grimm were told to appear at the victim's residence and rape her when she opened the door. The 58-year-old victim received more than 100 telephone calls from men across the United States and Canada, at least five of whom showed up at her door. The two women have known each other for about 10 years.
