Wotbox (www.wotbox.com), a UK-based independent search engine mainly known for its advanced geo-targeting technology and for displaying a flag of the country of origin next to each result on its search pages, announced on October 15 the release of a new site submission program for webmasters. The service allows users to have their websites instantly added to Wotbox's index, meaning the pages will be searchable within minutes.
The new Wotbox Instant Inclusion Service available at www.wotbox.com/addurl is a traditional paid inclusion system, which requires users to pay a small fee for each URL they want instantly added to the Wotbox index. Compared to competitors who charge up to and over $50 (£30), the Wotbox submission fee is just £1.00 (approximately $1.80) per URL.
Wotbox Director Mike Nott said that Wotbox wanted to offer the service at the lowest commercially viable price to guarantee that webmasters can achieve a good ROI on their investment, and to give smaller site owners with a limited budget the opportunity to get more of their content pages indexed rather than just their homepage.
