The New Netscape Browser Uses Google as the Default Search Engine

America Online Inc. (www.aol.com) announced on May 19 the launch of its Netscape 8.0 browser (www.netscape.com), which uses Google (www.google.com) as the default search engine.

Netscape 8.0 also lets users choose Ask Jeeves (www.ask.com). AOL is in talks with Yahoo (www.yahoo.com) as well.
