A recent survey by San Jose, California-based www.Survey.com indicates that more than a half of the college students in the States are buying books online. Numbers suggest that interest in online book shopping has increased dramatically as several search engines, such as www.Textbookhound.com and www.Bigwords.com, are helping students compare multiple textbook sites, listing prices, shipping costs and availability. However, they do not include online auction sites or exchanges.
