Northern Light (www.northernlight.com), a provider of custom enterprise, industry, and Web search engines, announced on September 30 that it has released a new version of its business search engine and that the new version, called the Northern Light Business Research Engine, is available at www.nlresearch.com.
A new feature in the Business Research Engine is customizable Search Alerts that allow users to save any search and be updated daily whenever the news, journals, or Business Web content has any new material that matches their interests. Additionally, users can customize the Business Research Engine by adding websites that they frequently review for industry information to the database for full-text searching.
David Seuss, CEO of Northern Light, said that business professionals using general Web search engines to look for quality business information are often frustrated by irrelevant results, that users often have to flail through results from general Web search engines, page after page, looking for good information, and that the Business Research Engine is completely different and is designed to provide users with only what they need, efficiently and effectively.
