Atomz (www.atomz.com), a leading provider of hosted enterprise website applications and winner of the SIIA's Codie Award for Best Enterprise Search Engine, announced on October 21 that Maps.com (www.maps.com), a leading mapping solutions company serving business, education and consumer marketplaces, has selected Atomz's hosted solutions to tailor customer search results and improve overall conversion rates.
Before choosing Atomz's award-winning hosted solutions, Maps.com relied on its own proprietary search engine, which did not afford them the ability to control visitor search results or display promotions based on search terms. In an effort to enhance their customers' online experience, Maps.com turned to Atomz's Commerce solution.
John Serpa, president of Maps.com, said that Maps.com has been very satisfied with the results it has seen since deploying Atomz, that Maps.com achieved nearly a 20 percent increase in sales compared to the previous month, and that Maps.com attributes almost all of the increase to Atomz's technology.
Steve Kusmer, CEO of Atomz, said that providing a website with targeted search results and best-in-class user interfaces is imperative to achieve customer satisfaction, that Maps.com is aware of these factors, and that it is the commitment to the visitor experience that allows them to attract such a high volume of traffic to their site.
