123Bharath.com (www.123bharath.com) announced on October 11 that the scheduled meeting of the search engine giant Google's founders with the Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh has been called off.
A Government spokesperson said that Sergey Brin and Larry Page were to meet the Prime Minister in the evening of October 11, but the meeting has been called off.
Google’s spokesperson D. Frost confirmed that Brin and Page are in India and said that the Google founders visit their offices worldwide.
Google's head of Bangalore R&D center Krishna Bharat refused to take any query and answer as to why the two officials were meeting the Prime Minister and whether their visit to India has been called off.
